Forged Carbon Texture
Our carbon fiber sheets are manufactured through a strict multi-step process to ensure consistent quality, high mechanical performance, and an excellent surface finish.
1. Raw Material Preparation
We start with aerospace-grade carbon fiber fabrics (3K, T300, or T700) and high-quality epoxy resin systems. Only carefully inspected rolls of carbon fiber are used to guarantee performance from the very beginning.
2. Prepreg Impregnation
The carbon fiber fabrics are impregnated with epoxy resin using advanced prepreg technology. This ensures uniform resin distribution, stable fiber orientation, and optimal fiber-to-resin ratio.
3. Lay-Up and Stacking
Multiple layers of prepreg sheets are laid up by skilled technicians. The fiber orientation is arranged at 0°, 90°, and ±45° angles to maximize strength and balance in all directions. This stage determines the mechanical performance of the final sheet.
4. Curing and Consolidation
The stacked layers are placed into an autoclave or hot press, where heat and pressure cure the resin system. This process eliminates voids, consolidates the laminate, and delivers excellent mechanical properties with a smooth surface.
5. Cutting and Trimming
After curing, the sheets are cut into standard sizes or customized shapes. Precision CNC machining and waterjet cutting are used to achieve high dimensional accuracy and tight tolerances.
6. Surface Finishing
Each sheet is finished with the requested surface style - glossy, matte, twill, plain weave, or forged carbon. Polishing and coating processes are applied if required, ensuring consistent appearance across all sheets.
7. Quality Inspection
Every sheet undergoes a full inspection before packaging. Mechanical testing (tensile strength, flexural modulus), thickness measurement, surface flatness check, and visual inspection are conducted to guarantee compliance with international standards.
8. Packaging
Sheets are separated by PE protective film, wrapped in bubble wrap, packed into export cartons, and palletized for safe transportation.
